A slightly elevated tee reveals the entire hole from tee to green. A sweeping dog left with one of the widest fairways on the course. A ridge running perpendicular to the play line, if carried, will add additional meterage to the drive and shorten the golf hole. The typical wind is usually down and across, mostly helping, but also pushing the the drive to the right, away from the desired target. A large remnant dune on the right frames and turns the golf hole and the drive. An inside left line is preferred for front right pins. The green is elevated and has a false front on the left side, so be warned, don’t be short. Two pot bunkers provide protection for competition pins on the right. Hitting the centre of the green is the smart play for members.
